Richard Gere

Richard Tiffany Gere est un acteur américain. Il a débuté dans le cinéma dans les années 1970, jouant un second rôle dans Looking for Mr. Goodbar (1977) et un rôle principal dans Days of Heaven (1978). Il s'est fait connaître grâce à son rôle dans le film American Gigolo (1980), qui l'a établi comme un homme de premier plan et un sex-symbol. Il a ensuite joué dans de nombreux films bien accueillis, dont An Officer and a Gentleman (1982), The Cotton Club (1984), Pretty Woman (1990), Sommersby (1993), Primal Fear (1996), Runaway Bride (1999), I'm Not There (2007), Arbitrage (2012) et Norman : The Moderate Rise and Tragic Fall of a New York Fixer (2016). Pour avoir incarné Billy Flynn dans la comédie musicale Chicago (2002), primée aux Oscars, il a remporté un Golden Globe Award et un Screen Actors Guild Award en tant que membre du casting.
